Iftekhar Ul Karim

Lecturer

Overview

Iftekhar earned a Master’s in Leadership for Sustainability from Malmo University in Sweden as a Swedish Institute Scholar, and another Master’s in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies from Wageningen University in the Netherlands as a Huygens Scholar. As Australian Govt. Endeavour Executive Fellow, he has collaborated with Oaktree (largest youth-led organization in Australia) during summer 2016 as a Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership specialist in order to review and revamp their youth entrepreneurship model. Previously, Iftekhar worked with Management for Development – MDF Training and Consultancy and Euroconsult Mott MacDonald in the Netherlands to support global branch offices in business development for international development consultancy. Iftekhar also gained professional experiences in developmental projects during his tenure with federally owned German Development Cooperation (GIZ) Bangladesh and entrepreneurship projects with Business in Development (BiD) Network in Amsterdam. As Charles Wallace/British Council Professional Fellow 2016, Iftekhar is engaged with UK Youth in London – which is UK’s largest national body for youth sector delivering informal education. Currently Iftekhar is a full-time Lecturer at ULAB School of Business, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
