Arzoo Ismail

Lecturer

Overview

She has two and half years of experience in teaching business courses at the University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh. She finished her Master of Quantitative Economics program at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 2012 and prior to that she has earned a LL.M Finance degree from Institute of Law and Finance, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 2008. During my stay in Germany, along with my studies, she worked at Goethe University as a research assistant and had couple of internship programs at Dresdner Bank AG (now Commerz Bank AG) and Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) in Frankfurt am Main. Before pursuing degrees in Germany, she had completed her undergraduate degree in the BBA program from North South University in 2006.  She currently teaches at the ULAB School of Business. She is also an Assistant Proctor and the advisor of ULAB Nutrition and Wellness Club.

Analysis of gender sensitivity on academic performances and employment compensations: A study on graduates of Bangladesh. Funded by University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, Research Grant (2014/15).
Women in the Banking Sector of Bangladesh: A study on opportunities and challenges for female employees. Funded by University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, Research Grant (2014/15).
Bangladeshi local culture in a time capsule through comic books and graphic novels.
