Iftekharul Mobin, PhD

Assistant Professor


He was a researcher at the Telecommunications Networks Laboratory, Electronic Engineering and Computer Science department at Queen Mary University of London for almost four years from 2010 to 2014. He has work experience in various contexts from software engineer to IT programmer, scientific researcher to research assistant. He enjoy intensive research experiments and analysis to solve critical problems. His main fascination is to work with Embedded systems, mainly sensor based intelligent robotic systems. His intention is to do research that closely relates to daily life problems and investigate what could be done to solve them. He is a professional member of IEEE and currently the branch counselor of ULAB IEEE, student branch.

ImpactQM scholarship, Queen Mary University of London, (Oct 2011) Grant of £7,800 to pursue commercial exploitation of my research outcomes. Started collaborative research with MediWise Ltd.
Capacity Building scholarship, Queen Mary University of London, (2010 - 2014) Grant worth £53,675 to conduct research on energy efficiency of ad hoc networks and QoS investigation.
