Overview

He has around twenty-five years’ experience in teaching Computer Science and Engineering. Currently, He is working as an Adviser to the School of Science and Engineering, ULAB and also as a Professor at Jahangirnagar University. He undertook postdoctoral research at the Bioinformatics Institute, Singapore, the Toyota Technological Institute, Japan, the Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan, Chiba University, Japan and Bonn University, Germany. His research is focused on the field of imaging informatics and computer vision. He has published more than 70  seventy papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings and also delivered keynote speeches at international conferences both at home and abroad. He has two patents and he has received the Best Paper Award in ICIEV 2013, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Best Presenter Award from the ICCVG 2004, Warsaw, Poland. He is a Fellow of Bangladesh Computer Society and also a senior member of IEEE and IACSIT.
