An academician with more than two decades of teaching experience in India and Bangladesh and has been a visiting professional at a number of institutes. She has been engaged in higher education, research and women economic empowerment activities and has passion for extracurricular activities especially sports and social welfare. Her areas of interest are Economics, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Gender, Environment and Financial Sustainability. Currently serving as a Professor in ULAB, School of Business, Senior Academic of Quality Assurance Committee and Member of Academic Council, Dr. Pinki served the role of Chairperson for ‘Sexual Harassment Committee (SHC)’ and Advisor and Coordinator of ‘Co-curricular and extracurricular activities’. She writes for the daily newspapers on women and related issues. She has participated as the keynote speakers and session chairs for a number of national and international conferences and events.
In addition, Dr. Pinki is a Business mentor, Social Entrepreneur and activist. She is the Board Member of Executive Council of Poverty Eradication Program (PEP), A sister organization of PSDI; Business Mentor for Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Helpcentre (BYEAH); and is the founding President of the Professional Women’s Association (ProWA).
