cricketbat2At ULAB, students can participate in a range of sports activities, including Cricket, Football, and Table Tennis.

ULAB PLAYGROUND

ULAB has already organized several inter-private university cricket tournaments, including the ULAB Fair Play Cup, on our full-sized, tournament-standard cricket ground, the only one of any private university in Bangladesh.

Fair Play Cup Cricket Tournament

ULAB organizes the annual ULAB Fair Play Cup, an inter-private university T-20 cricket tournament.

Teams which have participated in past tournaments: BRAC University; East West University; Independent University Bangladesh; North South University; State University of Bangladesh; Stamford University Bangladesh, Manarat International University, Northern University Bangladesh, United International University and the host University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.

International Tournaments

As the two time inter-university champions in Bangladesh, ULAB cricket team had the opportunity to play international tournaments. Such as:

Redbull Campus Cricket World Finals

This year ULAB cricket team was invited to play Redbull Campus Cricket World Finals in Sri Lanka in April, 2013. ULAB was invited as only university team from Bangladesh.

International Inter-university Tournament in Malaysia

ULAB was also invited in 2012 to play a international inter-university tournament in Malaysia.

National University of Malaysia was the host University. ULAB team bagged the Second Runner-up position in that tournament.

 

 

 

Local Achievements

Hero Honda Cup “battle of Hunks” : ULAB also became champion in Hero Honda Cup “ battle of Hunks” in 2011.

As part of this recognition ULAB team got the chance to have a Victory Lap in the opening ceremony of the Cricket World Cup in 2011 held in Dhaka.
