Teachers of Center for Language Studies (CLS) of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) recently presented on ‘Encouraging active reading at ULAB’ at the British Council Readers Development Conference 2017. The event was hosted by the British Council Bangladesh, on 18th February, 2017 at its auditorium. The conference was primarily designed to share experiences of the participating institutions in the British Council Book Reading Competition.

The day-long conference included a welcome note by Jim Scarth, Deputy Director, British Council Bangladesh and by Ms. Sarwat Masud Reza, Library Manager, British Council Bangladesh. Following the presentations of the participating institutions, a workshop was conducted by Mr. Imran Saifur, Academic Manager, British Council Bangladesh on making reading fun and interactive.
