ULAB Holds Club Day Spring’17


ULAB Co-curricular organized the spring’17 Club Day on 16th March, 2017. The event was divided into two phases: the first phase started from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm which included stall visit and the second phase started from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, cultural show and rock concert conducted in the Auditorium, ULAB Campus A. There were about eighteen clubs present today and they all had their own stalls decorated by themselves. All the clubs came up with innovative concepts and they also presented their clubs in a wonderful manner to the faculties and students. Few clubs organized different games such as dart and remote car racing for amusement.

On the other hand from 3:00 pm the cultural event commenced at the Auditorium Campus A. The program opened up with the Bangladesh National Anthem which was soon followed by speeches from Dr. Pinki Shah, Coordinator Co-Curricular, Associate Professor ULAB School of Business and by Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor ULAB and Director of ULAB School of Business. Furthermore, the newsletters were distributed and finally the first app of the university “ULAB Co-Curricular App” was launched.  The program was then forwarded with the cultural performances which included few classical and modern day dancing, classical songs, poetry recitation and drama. Lastly the program ended with a “Rock Concert & DJ performance.”
