Nafees Mansoor, PhD

Assistant Professor

Overview

Nafees Mansoor is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of ULAB. He joined the department just after finishing his Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Earlier, he received the Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Master of Science degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Dr. Nafees Mansoor has the experience to work both in academia and industry where he worked at UTM, IUB, Robi, etc.

Dr. Mansoor is the recipient of several awards which includes best paper awards at ICAICT 2016 (Bangladesh), RISP-NCCP 2015 (Malaysia), AUN/SEED-Net ICEEE (Malaysia), MJJIS 2013 (Japan). He also received the Best Research Proposal awards at JACTIM Research Proposal Contest 2012 (Malaysia). Dr. Mansoor has published more than 50 research articles in various reputed journals and international conferences. His research interests cover cognitive radio networks, wireless communications, smart city, signal processing and deep learning.
