Late Antique, Early Christian, Early Medieval Art with concentration on social history and relationships between Western Europe and the Byzantine and Islamic worlds.
Selima Quader Chowdhury has over five years’ experience teaching Art History at the undergraduate level. From 2008 to 2009 she taught Introduction to History of Art and Design, and History of Western Art II & III at Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology in Bangladesh. Prior to that, she was employed on a work experience scheme at Bonham’s, a privately owned British auction house and one of the world’s oldest and largest auctioneers of fine art and antiques. She is currently teaching at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) at the department of general education. Since August 2016 she has also been an advisor for the ULAB Social Welfare club.
