Mohammad Shah Shuja Bin Jabber

Assistant Professor

He has very recently moved to academia leaving behind his career of over fourteen years in the banking industry. He has been with Standard Chartered Bank in Bangladesh for the most part of his banking career. During his time there he has worked in both the retail and the corporate sides of banking for nine years and five years respectively. The experiences he gathered at the bank positioned him uniquely to bring the industry experience to the finance related courses which he teach at ULAB. He has been teaching Finance related courses to the MBA/EMBA students since September 2013 when he decided to take part-time classes during the weekends as preparation for his ultimate move to academia. In ULAB his career started in January 2015, when he began teaching the “Corporate Finance” course for the MBA students as Adjunct Faculty. He is now a full-time faculty member of ULAB in the School of Business, beginning in September 2016.
