Lecturer

Overview

Before shifting her career path to academia, She worked in publishing and with the arts as part of Bengal Foundation. She was the Assistant Editor for arts magazine Jamini and English literary journal Six Seasons Review before joining ULAB’s Department of Media Studies and Journalism as a Lecturer. In addition to her regular duties, She is also the advisor for ULAB’s Radio Campbuzz. Her research interests lie in culture, arts and pop culture with a particular focus on fanculture, audience behaviour, social media and identity.

One of the advisors of “FactWatch”, a ULAB initiative to counter fake news
