Towhidul Islam Khan

Senior Lecturer (On Leave)


Before joining ULAB, Towhidul Islam Khan worked for eight years as a journalist. His roles included leading the English news desk at ABC Radio Dhaka, working as a Senior Staff Sub-editor for Dhaka Tribune, and as a contributor for The Daily Star. He completed his MA and BA (hons) in English Literature from University of Dhaka. In 2016, he went to the University of Warwick for his second Master’s degree in Arts, Enterprise and Development. His academic performance along with his dissertation on “A cross-cultural study of (un)happiness” won him the Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies Prize, awarded annually to the student with the highest overall marks across the four Master’s programs offered by the Centre.
