Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria achieved Ph.D. in Engineering in 2018 with a major in Computer and Information Communication Engineering from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), South Korea, M.Sc. in Mobile Computing and communications in 2008 from Greenwich University, United Kingdom (UK), and BSc in Computer Science from North South University in 2003.
Dr. Kibria has 13 years of academic, research and industry experiences. During the Doctoral program, Dr. Kibria worked as a Research Assistant at AnLab at HUFS, South Korea from 2014 to 2018, and contributed to several projects at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T), which is a typical international standardization organization under the United Nations (UN). Dr. Kibria has published a number of research works in different international indexed Journals and Conference Proceedings, and attended in several international conferences in Austria, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam. His major interest includes Internet of Things (IoT), a leading research area in the present tech-driven world, semantic web, and Web-of-Objects. Dr. Kibria reviews article in several peer-reviewed Journals and International Conferences.
Dr. Kibria received the South Korea’s Foreign Student Scholarship, achieved MSc degree with Merit and he was awarded the third-prize at the Asia-Pacific Conference on Business Process Management 2015 (AP-BPM 2015) in 2015.
