After completing his BA (Hons) in English from the University of Chittagong, Mr. Wahid worked for three years (2011-2014) as an interpreter at the United Nations’ Operations in Cote d’Ivoire (UNOCI). Afterwards, from 2015-2017, he did his Master of Education (TESOL) from the University of South Australia (UniSA). His Master’s thesis on ‘the factors that influence the academic performance of the African refugee students at UniSA’ was examined by senior TESOL academics at UniSA and at Monash University and received comments attesting to the excellent standard of the thesis. Very recently, in 2018, after coming back to Bangladesh, Mr. Wahid did his CELTA from the British Council, Dhaka. His research interest includes, but is not limited to: Language processing of brain and mind, Learner identity and individuality, Migration and language.
