Afia Alam



Ms. Afia Alam has six years’ experience in teaching English language to different levels of learners, ranging from schools to professional law colleges. She was an IELTS & Language instructor for London School of Legal Studies, South for a year in 2012. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Department of English & Humanities, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh for about a year. Apart from teaching, Ms. Alam worked as a freelance voice artist with BBC Media Action; she also worked as a Sub-Editor with The Daily New Age; plus she has worked with The British Council Dhaka as an Exam Invigilator. Ms. Alam is currently working as a Lecturer at Center for Language Studies, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.

Research & Awards

International Conference:

Presented a paper at the 18th International Conference organized by the Nepal English Language Teachers’ Association in Katmandu, Nepal.
