Abdur Rahman Jidan is a Lecturer in the Department of Bangla at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). He completed both his B.A. and M.A. in Comparative Literature and Culture from Jahangirnagar University. His academic interests encompass Bangla literature, comparative literature, cultural studies and interdisciplinary humanities research. Alongside teaching and research, he is actively engaged in literary writing, editing, and cultural documentation. He has published poetry, short fiction, and research articles, and has contributed to documentary projects focusing on marginalized and indigenous communities in Bangladesh. His work seeks to connect literary scholarship with contemporary socio-cultural realities through critical and interdisciplinary approaches.
