Dewan Ahmed Muhtasim is an academic and researcher specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and neural networks. He received his B.Sc. in Computer Science (2020) and Master of Computing (Full Research Mode) in Artificial Intelligence (2024) from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where his research focused on generative adversarial networks (GANs) for facial inpainting. Currently, he is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), teaching and mentoring students in machine learning and AI.
His professional background includes serving as a Lecturer at Metropolitan University, Bangladesh, a Research Assistant at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Technology (CAIT), UKM, and a Full-Stack Web Developer at Magik Tech Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. With more than 12 research publications in top peer-reviewed international journals and contributions to projects such as a facial liveness detection system, he aims to advance innovation and critical thinking in academia and research.
