Ms. Sumaiya Zaman is an Assistant Professor at the ULAB School of Business. She has been teaching courses in Finance for fifteen years in the private universities of Bangladesh. She has 15 academic papers to her name which have been published from universities in the USA, Turkey, Italy, and Bangladesh. Her papers deal with the dynamics of financial market of Bangladesh which help her to enrich classroom lecture with local materials and to represent Bangladesh in the Global Academic Platform. She has acted as Session Chair in several international conferences organized by the University of South Florida (Florida, USA), Bahçeşehir University (Istanbul, Turkey), and University of Dhaka (Dhaka, Bangladesh). She has acted as Scientific Committee Member in international conference organized by the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. She has reviewed academic papers on the financial markets of Belize and Pakistan.
Ms. Zaman has acquired her primary and secondary education from North Africa. She has completed her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
