GED Course Structure
GED courses are offered both through the program and existing departments.
GED courses are designed under the following five categories:
A. General Education Foundation Courses (GEF)
B. Essential Skills (ESK)
C. ULAB Core Courses (UCC)
D. Elective/ Optional Courses (GED)All the courses listed under the above-mentioned categories are already built into every undergraduate degree program and clearly indicated on their respective syllabi. Students following any given degree program will be automatically directed towards the required GEF, ESK, UCC and GED elective/optional and Minor, that they must take or choose from.
The GED elective/optional and Minor courses, may vary quite a bit from term to term, and students are advised to consult the listings for each term to know what they must take or may choose from.

If a student’s 4-year distribution chart indicates that in his/her current term, s/he is required to take a “GED Elective” or an “Optional,” then s/he may choose a suitable course from the list below that does not conflict with his/her other required courses.
