ULAB Career Services Office and Casper Foundation hosted a seminar titled “Identify The Color of Your Cape: Be the next superhero of our community” at ULAB on the 1st of November,2016.
This took place in the presence of over 40 students, teachers and university’s admin. ULAB, with a motto of “A new vision in higher education” is working relentlessly to give the best opportunity possible to its students.
Casper Foundation is a Bangladeshi non-profit organisation that works with student leaders from local universities and helps them implement their innovative and sustainable social outreach projects that follow a unique set of criteria created by Casper Foundation.
During the seminar the topic was introduced to the students by discussing about fictional super heroes and how students can become a superhero by being a social leader in our community. Here, they have discussed about why building our community is important. The topic helped them get to know about real world superheroes such as social activists like Malala Yousafzai and social entrepreneurs like Sir Fazle Abed and how these people have made a difference and is still continuing to make their community’s lives better.
Then students were introduced to the Casper Program, how it operates and how students can be a part of this organization. Students were motivated to start their adventure in destroying their kryptonite and discovering their superpowers in a highly interactive, group-based learning environment by joining the Casper team.
