ULAB Career Services Office (CSO) Organizes Industrial Visit to Confidence Group

ULAB Career Services Office (CSO) Organized an Industrial Visit to Gaston Battery Factory of Confidence Group, Narayangonj on 25 March, 2017.

A group of 105 students across the departments and 6(Six) faculty members and officials from ULAB participated the event to explore the manufacturing process of a high-tech Battery manufacturing unit.

Shajal Kumar Sharma, Head of Plant welcomed and demonstrated the five students group accompanied by an expert to examine around the factory, gaining first-hand knowledge about the process of Electrode coating- Mixing, coating, Compressing, Dying; Assembling, Quality testing and packaging. Students also came to know about the Marketing, Operations Management, Organizational Culture and Product Life cycle of Gaston Battery. They also got a sneak peak of the quality of life of the employees and factory workers by interacting with them.

After the factory visit, a tour to Panam City and BD Folk Art & Craft Foundation, Sonargaon was also arranged to explore the National Heritage and Culture by the CSO Team where the students' queries about archaeology were answered with experience guides
