University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized "ULAB Career Fair-2017"

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized "ULAB Career Fair-2017" on October 28, 2017, Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It was held in its Dhanmondi Campus. About 30 organizations participated in this fair where events like Career Development Seminars, Workshops, CV collection and Spot interviews took place.

The Fair was inaugurated by Chief guest Ms Rupali Chowdhury, Managing Director at Berger Paints Bangladesh LTD. at 10:00 am in the ULAB auditorium. Mr. Md. Musharrof Hossain, President of BSHRM & Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resources Management was present as Special Guest.

In her inspirational speech Ms. Rupali Chowdhury urged students to " be good human beings”. She also said “no matter how talented you are, you have to work hard, you have to improve continuously”. She emphasized to the students to learn every day from technology and also not to fear competition.

In his address, Special Guest Md. Musharrof Hossain said “Job has no destination, but career has a destination and aspiration." He requested universities to ensure practical education by bringing professionalism in the classroom.

Professor H.M Jahirul Haque gave the inaugural speech and welcomed everyone. Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the ULAB Board of Trustees, delivered the vote of thanks.

ULAB Registrar Professor Akhtar Ahmed, Director of ULAB Career Services Office Abu Hena Md. Rasel and other senior authorities of ULAB, representatives from different organizations, faculty members, administrative staff and students also attended this most awaited ULAB Career Fair-2017.

BSHRM was another partner of ULAB for the event. Media partners of the ULAB Career Fair were Online Bangla Tribune, Radio Shadhin, Edu-icon, and Financial Express.
