ULAB EEE and Electronics Club Organized “Robotics Vision: Idea Competition 2020”

To celebrate “World Robotics Day” Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, ULAB & Robotics Wing of ULAB Electronics Club jointly organized an online competition is called “Robotics Vision: Idea Competition 2020”.

“Robotics Vision: Idea Competition 2020’’ started at 28 May 2020 and the deadline of   idea submission was 15 June 2020. The theme of the contest was Robotic Vision. A lot of students from different departments participated with their own innovative ideas on robotics.

The prize giving ceremony of this competition was held on 11 July 2020. The Honorable Vice Chancellor of ULAB, Professor H M Jahirul Haque, was the Chief Guest. Professor M. Moffazal Hossain, Head of Department of EEE, and faculty members of EEE department were also present in the ceremony. In the prize-giving ceremony, the faculty members shared their views on robotics. Our Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Jahirul Haque advised the participants not to confine themselves in just ideas and try to implement their ideas practically.

The Champion of this competition was Tanjida Rahman, First Runner Up was Abu Obayed Alfatha and Second Runner Up was Samia Howlader. All of them are from the Department of EEE, ULAB. Certificates were also provided to all the participants.
