IEEE ULAB SB WIE Affinity Group organized a webinar titled “Higher Studies Scope for Female in Abroad” on June 26, 2021, via online platform.

For women empowerment, higher studies for female students is important to become self-sufficient and financially independent. To do this, we need to create more higher studies scope for women and ensure that the best scope for higher studies are accessible to those with the desire and initiative to find high-paying jobs for women that fit their personality and lifestyle.

Total 33 students from EEE, ETE, CSE, BBA, DEH, and MSJ Department and distinguished faculty members joined in this webinar. The speaker was Ms. Farhana Haque Sumi, Alumni, Department of CSE, ULAB. She is working as a Full Stack Web Developer at Human Resocia Co., Japan. She has shared her experiences and provided guidance regarding higher studies for the current students. She also discussed the necessary qualification measures to pursue higher education in abroad. The students interacted with the speaker and got their doubts clarified about higher studies in abroad.

Dr. Tama Fouzder, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, ULAB, and Advisor of IEEE ULAB SB WIE Affinity Group encouraged students to participate in this event.
