Department of EEE/ETE, ULAB and ULAB ETE Alumni Association organized “ULAB ETE-EEE Virtual Mingling 2021”

The alumni association of a university plays a crucial role in the progress of a university in the professional sectors and higher study. Keeping that in mind, the Department of EEE/ETE, ULAB, and ULAB ETE Alumni Association organized “ULAB ETE-EEE Virtual Mingling 2021” on 5 August 2021 during 8:00 – 9:30 pm to discuss different issues. The meeting was held on the online “Zoom” platform. The event’s chief guest was Prof. Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, Dean of School of Science and Engineering (SSE) and Head of EEE/ETE, ULAB. Mr. Tarif Mohammed Khan, President of the ETE Alumni Association, moderated the program. All the faculty members of the EEE/ETE department and Mr. Abu Rasel, director, CSO, AA and OIA, ULAB, the members of the executive committee of the ETE alumni association, new graduates of EEE and ETE were present and participated in the discussion. At the beginning of the program, Prof. M. Mofazzal Hossain delivered the welcome speech. Then all the alumni present in the meeting introduced themselves. After the introduction session, Prof. M. Mofazzal Hossain emphasized the EEE-ETE Alumni collaboration and discussed the significance of forming the ULAB ETE-EEE Alumni Association for the better professional guidance of recently graduated EEE students. All the EEE and ETE Alumni present in the meeting, along with the faculty members of the EEE/ETE department, agreed to the proposal and decided to form the ULAB ETE-EEE Alumni Association (ULAB ETE-EEE AA) with a formal announcement by organizing a program as soon as possible. The speakers also encouraged the recent graduates of EEE and ETE to register for the ULAB virtual convocation 2021 and highlighted the importance and necessity of convocation and original certificate. The program was highly interactive and was ended with a vote of thanks from the president of the Alumni Association, Mr. Tarif Mohammed Khan.
