IoT Lab, Industry visit to Datasoft Manufacturing and Assembly Inc. Limited (DMA)

A number of students of the CSE and EEE Department visited Datasoft Manufacturing & Assembly (DMA) Inc. Limited at its R&D unit at Gulshan-2, Dhaka on 28 May 2022. ULAB IoT Lab hosted the industry visit. Masuda Bhatti, an Executive Director, Journalist, Editor, Author, Teacher, Human Rights Activist, and Entrepreneur welcome the ULAB team.

Several IoT-based projects were demonstrated by Mr. Ratan-Hasan Rahman, MD, DMA. The students gathered knowledge of the industry and ongoing IoT-based projects and obtained guidance on the preparation for the job market in this field during the visit.

Faculty members including Dr. Abul Kalam Al Azad, Head of the Department, Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria, Associate Professor, Dr. Farhana Sarker of the CSE Department joined the students. Dr. Kibria, Director of the IoT Lab led the ULAB team. The industry visit was hosted by the IoT Lab and supported by UCPC, IEEE Student Branch, IEEE Computer Society ULAB Student Branch.
