Spring 2023 CSE Freshers’ Orientation on 21 January 2023

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized the Spring 2023 Freshers' Orientation to welcome the newest members of the family on 21 January 2023 at ULAB Main Campus. Professor Dr. Lafifa Jamal, Professor of the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering, University of Dhaka was present as the Chief Guest. Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor of ULAB, Dean of School of Science and Engineering Professor Mofazzal Hossain, Head (Acting) of the Department Professor Muhammad Golam Kibria, faculty members, and freshers were present at the orientation program.

Chief Guest, Professor Jamal, in her speech focused on the lifelong learning, learning outside the classroom as well as engagement with different co-curricular activities during their course of study to get familiarize with the real world. She emphasized on women empowerment and improvement of their social and economic status that would enhance their decision-making capacity at all levels. The welcome address was delivered by Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor of ULAB.
