ULAB’s Professor Kibria presented a research paper at an International Conference in South Korea
Professor Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria, from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), embarked on a journey to South Korea to participate in the 23rd International Conference on Control, Automation, and Systems (ICCAS) in 2023, held from October 17th to October 20th. At this prestigious event, he presented a research paper titled "IoT-based Smart Ankle Foot Orthosis for Patients with Gait Imbalance," which was co-authored by Fahim Hossain Sifat, Ferdous Rahman Shefa, and the esteemed Professor Dr. Sayed Chhattan Shah, who is affiliated with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
Throughout his stay in South Korea, Professor Kibria not only attended keynote addresses but also engaged in meaningful discussions with distinguished professors and researchers. He shared insights and discussed potential avenues for collaborative research projects.
In addition to his conference activities, Professor Kibria took the opportunity to explore some of the world-renowned universities and research facilities in South Korea including Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST), Woosong University, Chungnam National University, and Sejeong University. Moreover, he seized the chance to immerse himself in the local culture and sights of South Korea.
