ULAB’s Senior Lecturer Ms. Selima Quader Chowdhury presented the 6th International Theveli Conference 2023

Ms. Selima Quader Chowdhury, Art Historian and Senior Lecturer at GED, ULAB, presented her paper “Representation of the Female Body by Feminist Artists of Bangladesh in the 1990s" at the 6th International Theveli Conference organized by Maldives National University. The theme for the conference was Research for Informed Policy Decisions. Ms. Chowdhury discussed how the feminist artists of Bangladesh in the 1990s broke the stereotypical representations of the female body and helped to shape feminism in the context of Bangladesh.
