Industry Experts Shared Insights during the Panel Discussion at CSE Fest 2025
A major highlight of CSE Fest 2025 was the Panel Discussion on “IT Industry: Career Opportunities and Challenges”, which brought together leading industry professionals to share their knowledge, experiences, and insights with students, was held on July 24, 2025. The session offered a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with experts and gain a deeper understanding of the evolving IT landscape. The event successfully bridged the gap between academia and industry, inspiring students to prepare for emerging opportunities in the IT sector.

During the discussion, the panelists addressed a broad range of topics, including emerging career opportunities in software development, data science, AI, and digital entrepreneurship, current trends and challenges in the IT industry, essential skills and competencies needed to thrive in the fast-changing digital landscape.
The interactive session saw active participation from students, who asked questions about career planning, internships, and industry expectations, gaining valuable real-world perspectives and actionable advice. The session was conducted by Mr. Raihan Kibria, Senior Lecturer. At the conclusion of the event, Professor Jude William Genilo, Pro-Vice Chancellor of ULAB, presented crests to the panel members in recognition of their valuable contributions. The Panel Discussion was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in collaboration with the ULAB Computer Programming Club (UCPC).
