ULAB Students Showcase Creativity at Poster Exhibition

Students of the Convergence Communication 1of the Department of Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) have showcased their creativity and design skills in the Convergence Communication 1 Poster Showcase, held at the university campus from August 10 to 13.
The exhibition featured midterm projects in which students interviewed a classmate and designed a personalized poster using Adobe Photoshop. The works displayed a mix of bold, polished designs and raw, heartfelt creations, each reflecting the individuality of its subject.
“This showcase is not just about Photoshop or design, it’s about people, stories, and the effort to see someone through another’s eyes,” said course instructor AFM Moniruzzaman Shipu, who curated the event. “What matters most is that each student made the effort to create, and in that effort, I see growth.”
The exhibition drew attention for its diverse styles, from minimalist layouts to intricate compositions, underscoring the department’s focus on combining technical skills with personal storytelling.
The Convergence Communication 1 Poster Showcase reflects ULAB MSJ’s ongoing commitment to experiential learning, encouraging students to merge creative expression with meaningful communication.
