UCPC Hosted “The Takeoff Programming Contest – Fall 2025” at ULAB

The ULAB Computer Programming Club (UCPC) hosted “Takeoff Programming Contest – Fall 2025” on October 23, 2025, in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).

The contest brought together talented young programmers eager to demonstrate their problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and teamwork in an engaging competitive environment. Participants were given three hours to solve nine challenging programming problems, testing both their algorithmic thinking and coding proficiency. Both the Champion and 1st Runner-Up teams solved six problems, while the 2nd Runner-Up solved five.

Champion: Team members: Jihadul Islam Sajim, Abdul Aziz Faisal, and Nafiur Rahman Niloy;
1st Runner-Up: Team members: Md. Ruhul Amin, Kawser Ahmmed, and Md. Rahat Talukder;
2nd Runner-Up: Team members: Yeasin Uddin Sourov, Zeesad E Arham, and Shahriar Tanveer;

All winners were presented with crests and certificates. During the award ceremony, Professor Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria, Acting Head of the Department, announced the exciting news of the top ten teams’ nomination for the upcoming ICPC.
