CSE Department’s Project Competition Successfully Held - 27 November 2025
The Department of CSE at ULAB successfully organized the Project Competition – Fall 2025 on 27 November 2025. More than 100 participants presented 33 innovative projects, showcasing the creativity and technical proficiency of CSE students. Students, alumni, faculty members, and IT entrepreneurs enthusiastically attended the event, contributing to its vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
Professor Muhammad Golam Kibria, Head of the Department, expressed his sincere appreciation to all faculty members for their continued guidance and support throughout the project development process. He highlighted the significance of such competitions in enhancing student exposure and in developing essential soft skills.
The winners of the competition were announced as follows:
- Law Firm secured the Champion position with team members Abida Sultanam, Sadia Islam Pushpo, and Yeasin Uddin Sourov;
- GenieFy obtained the 1st Runner-up position, represented by Md. Shahriar Alam, Ankon Das, Zisan Hasan, and Md. Abu Hurayra
- 2nd Runner-up position was awarded to the IoT-based Automated Biofloc System team, comprising Saiful Islam, Pranto Paul, Md. Fahad Al Noman, and Md. Sabik Anjum Suddho.
Each project was evaluated across five criteria by judging panels composed of CSE faculty members and industry experts serving as external judges. The results were officially announced by Associate Professor Dr. Nafees Mansoor, and four IT entrepreneurs presented Crests and Certificates to the winners in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
