ULAB School of Business Hosts “Meet the Recruiters” to Connect Students with Employers
The School of Business of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), in collaboration with the Career Services Office (CSO), successfully organized the “Meet the Recruiters” event on June 24, 2026, at the ULAB permanent campus. The day-long program, held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, brought together leading employers and students to facilitate career opportunities, networking, and professional development.
Representatives from 11 prominent organizations participated in the event, including AB Bank, Anwar Group, Apex DMIT, Coca-Cola Beverages Bangladesh Limited, Dream Textiles Mills Limited, HRsoftBD, Sokrio Technologies Limited, Sukher Khamar Agro, Daily Agamir Somoy, Meena Bazar, and United Financial Trading Company Limited. The participating organizations engaged directly with students, collected CVs, shared information about internship and employment opportunities, and discussed industry expectations and career pathways.
The event was inaugurated by ULAB Treasurer Professor Dr. Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee, who was accompanied by the Dean of the School of Business, Professor Dr. Sarwar Uddin Ahmed. Also present at the inauguration were ULAB Registrar Lt. Col. (Retd.) Md. Foyzul Islam; Mr. Asifur Rahman Khan, Deputy Director & Head of Communication; Additional Director of the Career Services Office - Mr. Aslam Hossain, MBA & EMBA Program Director Dr. Shamsuddin Ahamad, BBA Program Director Dr. Wazir A. F. Ahmad, and other faculty members from the School of Business.
The “Meet the Recruiters” event reflects ULAB School of Business’s continued commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry by creating meaningful opportunities for students to interact with employers and gain practical career guidance. The initiative also reinforces the ULAB School of Business’s dedication to enhancing graduate employability and preparing students for the challenges of a dynamic and competitive job market.
