Aligning Engineering Curriculum with BAETE Manual v3.0: Incorporating SDGs and Entrepreneurship

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) successfully organized a session titled “Aligning Engineering Curriculum with BAETE Manual v3.0: Incorporating SDGs and Entrepreneurship” on Thursday, August 06, 2026.

The session was conducted by Prof. Salekul Islam, PhD, Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), North South University (NSU), and Prof. Mohammad Shahriar Rahman, PhD, Higher Education Specialist, ICSETEP, University Grants Commission (UGC), and Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), United International University (UIU).

The resource persons discussed strategies for integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and entrepreneurship into engineering curricula in alignment with the requirements of the BAETE Manual v3.0. The session also explored practical approaches to embedding these elements into curriculum design, teaching and learning, and assessment.

Faculty members from different engineering disciplines enthusiastically participated in the session and actively engaged in discussions, sharing their perspectives and experiences on strengthening engineering education through SDG-oriented and entrepreneurship-focused curriculum development.
