We are honoured to invite you to the event "Remembering Martyred Intellectuals"  featuring Dr. Nusrat Rabbee, the daughter of Dr. Mohammed Fazle Rabbee and Dr. Jahan Ara Rabbee.  She will reflect on the ultimate "sacrifices and strides made by the relentless champions of the first few decades" of the nation and "the martyrs for the cause of Bangladesh" with reference to her book, "The Spirit of 1971: A Memoir."

Dr. Nusrat Rabbee is an American statistician working in biomedical research in the US. She holds a  BA degree from Wellesley College; MA from the University of California, Berkeley; PhD from Harvard University; and post-doc from UC Berkeley. She was a star witness to the intellectual killing trials held in 2013.

Our student discussants from the Paper Canoe--ULAB literary society will critically engage with the book to offer their responses.
