Before joining ULAB as a Lecturer at the Department of English and Humanities, Anika Shah briefly worked as an adjunct faculty at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). She completed her MA in Literatures in English and Cultural Studies and BA (Hons) in English Literature from Jahangirnagar University. She is also a bilingual writer and translator, and co-edits a cross-cultural literary webzine called Prachya Review. Her research approach tends to be interdisciplinary, with an interest ranging from literature, music, film, art, and popular culture.
