Currently working as the Assistant Professor of School of Business at University of Liberal Arts of Bangladesh. Asif has over 18 years of experience in International development. He specializes on entrepreneurship development, social enterprise, corporate social responsibility and impact investment.
Asif lead the Private Sector Engagement Team in different international organizations and was responsible to conceptualize, initiate, manage and roll-out highly innovative and impactful development interventions that center on sustainable and value-enhancing partnerships with the private sector. Over the last decade, and in the critical areas of inclusive markets and supply chains, pro-poor corporate investments based on sustainable business models, inclusive business promotion and development research; he has created over 30 sustainable partnerships with MNCs, local conglomerates and academic institutions. He also serves as the member of Board of Directors of Anukul Foundation (www.anukulfoundation.org) which provides low cost loan for micro and small enterprises owned by the women entrepreneurs. Asif has advanced degree on non profit management from Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University and on Corporate Social Responsibility from Harvard Business School.
