Dr Mohammad Shazzad Hossain is an e-learning expert, Director of the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Associate Professor in the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Since 2012, he has helped initiate innovative teaching techniques and vibrant cocurricular activities in the Department. In recognition of his contributions, the university honoured him with the Vice Chancellor Award of Excellence in 2017.
He has a PhD in E-learning Methodology and expertise in film studies, journalism, community media, new media, and development communication. As an expert, he has collaborated with numerous government and development agencies on projects such as e-learning module design, documentary production, research, and community development. Prior to joining academia, he worked as a media professional for eight years. His interdisciplinary knowledge and skills make him a sought-after expert in both academic and industrial settings.
