Currently, Sovon Chakraborty is serving as a Lecturer in the Computer Science & Engineering of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). Before that, he remained as a Lecturer at European University of Bangladesh for 2 years and 6 months. He was also a software engineer at Himalaya Airlines for one year. He received his B.Sc. in CSE from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) along with completing his Master’s thesis from BRAC University. His research interests are Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and architectures of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). He is also associated with Bangladesh Data Science Society as an Event and Program Secretary.
