USB Holds Freshers’ Orientation Program of Spring 2020

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh School of Business (USB) organized their orientation program for the newly enrolled BBA students of Spring 2020 on February 13, 2020 at ULAB’s Campus A Auditorium.

The program was conducted in two sessions, both of which started with the segment “Life at ULAB” where Alumni and current USB students shared the experiences and the opportunities they had in ULAB. Prof. Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to ULAB’s BOT and Dean, ULAB School of Business, gave his welcome speech for the new students and encouraged them to participate in clubs and various activities offered by ULAB.

The program also had Quiz Sessions and team building tasks. Later on, Dr.Shahnaj Husne Jahan, Head of General Education Department gave a valuable presentation on why GED courses are important, and Ms. Dilara Afroz Khan, Assistant Professor of School of Business and Director of Student Affairs Office, gave a presentation on Campus Safety. After the sessions, few of the current students performed for the newcomers.

Prof. Wazir A F Ahmad, Assistant Professor & Director, BBA Program, introduced the BBA program office bearers, and along with them, he handed over the prize to the winning teams of the Quiz and Team Building sessions. The program ended with Mr. Nafees Imtiaj Ahmed, Senior Lecturer, and Mr. Faisal Mohammad Shahriar, Assistant, delivering a vote of thanks to all the freshers, volunteers and USB Event Management Team (EMT).
