Successful Workshop on Analog IC Design Organized by EEE Department

Analog IC design is one of the most important concepts in Electrical Engineering. Very few professionals are available all over the world in this esoteric yet very demanding field. To this end, a workshop was organized by the Dept. of EEE, ULAB on 19th January to familiarize students with these prospects, as well as providing them with the up to date knowledge on the global tech industry. The title of the session was "Workshop on Analog IC Design". It was conducted by Engr. Ahmed S Mazumder, who is affiliated with Silvaco Inc., Portland, Oregon, USA as the Director of Engineering. He worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation for 11 years and as a Senior Principal Engineer at Broadcom Corporation for 2 years. He also held many respectable positions at IBM, Trident Microsystems, C-Cube Microsystems, Microchip technology etc.  

The workshop was  organized in the permanent campus of ULAB. Students from all over joined the session with great enthusiasm. Also, the Head of the department of EEE along with other faculty members were also present in the seminar.
