ULAB Computer Programming Club(UCPC) arranged a knowledge sharing workshop titled- “Deep Learning for Beginners” on Sunday, 21st August 2022.
The beginning of the webinar was honored by the dear presence of Dr. Abul Kalam Al Azad, head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Khan Raqid Mahmud, Advisor of ULAB Computer Programming Club was also present and supervised the program.
The webinar was facilitated by the guest speaker, AL- Akhir Nayan, alumnus, 142 Batch, CSE, ULAB. He had been a lecturer at CSE Department, European University of Bangladesh. Till now he has published 8 journal articles, 5 conference articles, and 2 published book chapters. Currently he is pursuing Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
He discussed the fundamentals and applications of Deep learning and its architecture to make the participants familiarize themselves with it. He showed the pathway of how to dive into the world of deep learning as beginners.
At the end, the guest speaker received a vote of appreciation from Apon Ghosh, General Secretary of ULAB Computer Programming Club. The workshop was successfully accomplished by ULAB Computer Programming Club with around more than 50 participants.
