Motorcycle Parking - Rules and Regulations

At ULAB, the safety and security of our students, faculty members, officers, staff, and visitors remain our highest priority.

To ensure a safer, more organized, and learning-friendly campus environment, several new measures are being introduced for the motorcycle parking area.

A. Effective Sunday, 2 August 2026, the following procedures will be in place:
 Who can use the parking area?

  • Only ULAB students, faculty members, officers, and staff may park motorcycles in the designated parking area.
  • Visitors and guests must use the separate parking facility allocated for them.

Entry Procedure

  • Present your valid ULAB ID card.
  • Collect a parking token before entering the parking area.

After Parking

  • Park your motorcycle and leave the parking area immediately.
  • Only the motorcycle rider will be allowed to enter the parking area. Passengers or accompanying individuals will not be permitted inside.
  • Re-entry will only be allowed when collecting your motorcycle.
  • Return the parking token to the security personnel when exiting.

Parking Hours

  • The designated parking area will operate from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Motorcycles arriving before or after these hours should be parked at the separate location designated by the security personnel.

B. Enhanced Security Measures
To further improve safety and security, ULAB has:

  • Expanded the motorcycle parking area.
  • Installed enhanced lighting, including searchlights.
  • Installed 10 CCTV cameras for continuous monitoring.
  • ncreased security presence in the parking area.

C. Important Reminders

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the parking area.
  • Loitering after parking motorcycles or after class hours is not permitted.
  • Please help protect your own and others' belongings by following all parking regulations.

These initiatives have been introduced to strengthen campus security, improve vehicle management and record-keeping, and ensure a safe, disciplined, and welcoming environment for everyone.
